Author

Kenya R. Harper

Kenya R. Harper is a passionate children's author born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She began writing to teach her daughter meaningful life lessons and nurture her growth through storytelling. As her daughter grew older, Kenya found inspiration in the children around her, developing characters and stories from everyday experiences, classroom interactions, and moments of play.

What began as a way to connect with her daughter soon became a calling and a purpose. Through her books, Kenya encourages children to dream big, believe in themselves, and discover their unique gifts. Rooted in the belief that it takes a village to raise a child, she inspires children, parents, and educators to become "village go-getters" through the power of reading, learning, and self-discovery.

Kenya believes every child deserves to see themselves reflected in books and to know that their story matters.
